Laura is a San Francisco-based documentary filmmaker and creative producer from Spain known for her work exploring social justice themes. After earning a dual degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication, she worked as a Creative Producer at Muzungu, highlighting underrepresented voices. A graduate of Stanford’s MFA in Documentary Film, her work spans a diverse range of subjects, from dark comedy to climate change.

Since 2020, she has been a Digital Media Producer at the Stanford Center on Longevity, and is currently producing Rodeo Queens, a feature-length documentary about women in rodeo culture. Her work has been featured on This American Life and showcased at prestigious film festivals, including Visions du Réel, Big Sky, CIFF Calgary, Vienna Shorts, Cinequest, Glasgow Short Film Festival, and the Sydney Underground Film Festival, among others. Her short Humans won an Award of Recognition at the Edinburgh Docufest and Frida the Shorts Challenge Award at the Annapolis Film Festival.
